Verbs are a kind of words to express actions.
Verbs can be classified according to groups.
The same group of verbs have the same conjugations or endings.
Conjugation is the way that Spanish modifies verbs so they can tell you, among other things, who is performing the action.
In Spanish, personal pronouns ( I, you, he, she….) are not required, it is the
ending of the verb that indicate the doer of the   action.

For example:    canto              means        I   sing

                          cantamos         means        we sing

The verbal forms can be:  simple or compound

Simple is one word =  "canto"

Compound is two words = "he cantado"

Each verbal form has stem and ending,  if we take the ending from the infinitive form we have the stem.
Every verb form used to have the same stem ( some exception applied)

example= cantar
Infinitivo cant - ar
Presente  cant - o
Pretérito imperfecto  cant - aba
Pretérito perfecto  cant - é
Futuro  cant - aré
Condicional simple  cant - aría

Verbal forms could be: singular or plural

They inform about the number of persons doing the action, that is why we say they have number.

If they express actions done for one person, is singular . Example : canto

If they express actions done for two or more persons, is plural . Example : cantamos

Verbal forms express actions in first, second or third person

first person :     The action is done for the person who is speaking -  yo canto
second person:  The action is done for  the person who is listening -  tu cantas
third person:      The action is done for a person or persons different from the speaker or listener -  ellos cantan

And.......there are other verbal forms, they do not tell who is doing the action.
This are the Verboides, no personal or unpersonal forms :

Verboids are verb forms that have a value like : verb (infinitive), adjective (participle) or adverb (gerund).
