Reflexive pronouns

El pronombre personal reflexivo es aquel que reproduce o representa al sujeto de la misma oración.
   The reflexive pronoun is one that reproduces or represents the subject (person) in the same sentence.
La acción o significación del verbo recae en la persona que desarrolla la acción.
     The meaning or action of the verb rests on the person who develops the action.
Usualmente se encuentran después del verbo.
     Usually you can found them after the verb.
El que realiza la acción verbal (sujeto) es el mismo el que la recibe (objeto).
 Who makes the verbal action (subject) is the same as the recipient (object).

             tú me cuentas como estuvo el viaje.                          you tell me how was the trip.
             tú cuéntame como estuvo el viaje.                            you tell me how was the trip.  

             tú te lavas las manos.                                             you wash your hands:
             tú lávate las manos.                                                you wash your hands.

Donde «te» hace referencia a la persona ( tú) , que es también quien hace la acción.
    Where "te" refers to the person (tú), which is also who does the action.
