Prepositional pronouns
 
Function as the object of a verb or preposition, used after prepositions, often in order to emphasize the noun they replace
Prepositional pronouns are pronouns wich follows a preposition
But there are few exceptions:
We use subject pronouns after these prepositions:
entre  between
según  according to
and the words:
como   like
excepto  except
incluso  including
menos  except
salvo  except
Es una conversación entre tú y yo. It is a conversation between you and me.
El trabajo se hizo según tú idea. The work was done according to your idea.
Buscan una modelo de cabello largo y delgada como tú. They look for a model with long hair and thin as you.
La mayoría eligió vacaciones en la playa, incluso yo. The majority chose to go to the beach, including me. 
 
 
 Prepositional  Pronouns

Prepositional pronouns are the same as subject pronouns with the exception of 
the first- and second-person singular  "yo"  and  "tú" which change to "mí"  and  "ti"
The prepositional pronoun "mí"  have an accent, to distinguish it from the posessive adjective "mi".
The prepositional pronoun "ti"  does not have an accent.
The prepositional pronouns "mí", "ti", and "sí"  are the only ones which can be added to the word "con" (with)
forming a contraction, and the ending "go"must be added too.
The forms "conmigo" , "contigo"  and  "consigo" are used instead of  "con mí",  "con ti",  and "con sí ", respectively.

We have a neuter form "ello" in the prepositional pronoun.
No tengo tiempo para ello. I do not have enough time for that.
Tengo que terminar el informe, es por ello que no te puedo acompañar. Ihave to finish the report, that's why I can't go with you.
Using prepositional pronouns
Lo trajeron para mí.  They brought it for me.  
Él/ ella  siempre piensa en mí.  He / she always thinks about me.  
¿Vienes conmigo? Do you come with me? 
Yo siempre pienso en ti. I always think about you. 
 Éste regalo es para ti. This one gift is for you. 
¿ Voy contigo? Do I go with you? 
Ellos compraron el mismo auto que nosotros  They bought the same car as us
A mí, no me gusta la comida picante I don't like so spice food
Quiero conversar con ellos I want to talk with them
Tengo un regalo para ti I have a present for you
